On September 15, 1989, at around 3:00 p.m. Two men were arrested by the members of the 176th PC Coy in Morong, Bataan, because they were suspected of being members of the New People's Army. One of the victims was identified as Virgilio Diego.  According to a relative of Virgilio Diego, the victim was invited by his friend, Wilson, to go to Hulo to rest in the nipa hut. While the two persons were resting, members of the 176th PC Coy arrived and arrested the two persons.  The relative of Virgilio further stated that they have only learned about the incident ten days after it happened. The family and relatives of Virgilio had searched in different military camps in the province, but they hadn't found him, and the military denied having him in their custody.  To date, the whereabouts of the victim are still unknown. His relative was informed that his friend, Wilson, is already a member of CAFGU and is now assigned to Mariveles, Bataan.
