Reynaldo Yandoc, along with a certain man named Karling, was reported abducted and arrested by 10 armed military men in fatigue uniform in 69 Barangay Lawa, Obando, Bulacan, on May 20, 1984. According to Erlinda Yandoc, wife of Reynaldo Yandoc, it was on May 20, 1984, when Reynaldo Yandoc, along with his 3 children, was inside their house in Obando when 10 armed military men in fatigue uniforms forcibly forced themselves inside the house and took Reynaldo with them. Erlinda added she was not around when the incident happened; a certain "sir" who was identified by a witness said he wore a blue uniform.
The following day, May 21, Mang Karling, Reynaldo's neighbor, was picked up by the military, allegedly to give a statement at the municipal hall. On the way to the municipal hall, the blindfolded Mang Karling heard the voice of Reynaldo and presumed that he was in the same vehicle. Mang Karling's wife saw him once in the municipal hall. During her next visits she was told that her husband was no longer there.
Last week, he went back home and left for an undisclosed place. Erlinda Yandoc, along with his relatives, went to inquire at PC headquarters in Malolos, Bulacan, but only yielded a negative result. Erlinda also got information that Presidential Security Group based in Saint Jude Traders is behind the abduction of Reynaldo.
After 4 days, a news tabloid, "Balita," said that the victim was being held by the authorities. The family continues to search for Reynaldo Yandoc, but the effort only yielded a negative outcome.
To this day, the whereabouts of Reynaldo Yandoc remain unknown.
