Kasaran, Rasdie

On January 3, 2012, Najir Ahung, Rasdie Kasaran, and Yusup Mohammad traveled from Zamboanga to Manila via Air Philippines as scholars of the International University of Africa in Sudan. They were scheduled to leave for Khartoum, Sudan via Qatar Airways at 12:10 a.m. of January 4, 2012. Upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Najir Ahung was able to send a message to his brother, Barangay Captain Jamih Arawi of Barangay Guinanta, Al-Barka, Basilan, confirming that they have arrived in Manila.

The families have not received any information from the students since.

Ladlad, Leticia

In late November of 1975, she is supposed to have met with some comrades around the Paco Church in Manila. The group all disappeared.

Lagman, Hermon 

Atty. Hermon C. Lagman, 32, male, single, a labor lawyer and a human rights advocate, was apprehended by unidentified military men together with Victor Reyes while on their way to a meeting in Pasay in the morning of May 11, 1977.

On the night of May 14, 1977, an anonymous telephone caller frantically informed the Lagman family that Hermon was with him and Victor Reyes to attend a meeting in Pasay. On the way, military men apprehended them. The caller was able to escape, but Hermon and Victor were taken by their military captors and brought to an unknown place.

Lopez, Federico Jr.

In the morning of April 3, Friday, between 7:00 and 8:00 am, Federico Lopez Jr. left their house in Las Piñas City to see his cousin in a nearby place for a job he was applying for. While he was walking in the alley, an eyewitness recounts that Federico was collared by a big-built man wearing long sleeves and maong pants. While Federico resisted, the man was about to pull a gun but instead dragged Federico outside the alley. Upon reaching the street, another man alighted from the green car and assisted his companion in dragging Federico inside the car.

Lopez, Jaime Sr.

According to a witness, the jeep that Jaime was riding was blocked by seven armed men. A set of police were found in the corner of Rizal Avenue at EDSA, around ten meters away from the jeep that Jaime was riding in.

One of the armed men pointed his .45-caliber pistol at Jaime while holding the driver of the jeep. Jaime was ordered to stand up by the armed men and was searched. He was then pushed in a maroon car that was parked near the Jeep. 

Other witnesses said that the car sped to the Valenzuela area, while two red cars that were parked at the Liwasan ng Monumento followed.

Since then, Jaime Lopez's whereabouts have been unknown.

Disappearance date: October 25, 1987

Lucas, Emerito

On Sunday, October 25, 1987, at around 7:30 am, Emerito "Lito" Lucas told his wife that he was going out to visit a friend.

Several minutes later, he was stopped by 2 stocky men from a stainless-owned jeep coming from behind. They held him by both arms, forcing him to get inside the jeep. A white Toyota car suddenly arrived on the scene coming from the opposite direction in support of the man in the stainless jeep. A stocky man in a shirt got out from the car and helped the two men from the stainless-steel owner's jeep. The white Toyota car fled from the scene heading towards the Fairview, Maligaya Subdivision exit with the owner's jeep, one white car, and one brown car in convoy.

Magbanua, Elizabeth 

Magbanua was last seen with Alipio "Ador" Juat on May 3 in Barangay Punturin, Valenzuela City, after attending a meeting related to their community organizing work. According to Juat's son, he spoke to his father on May 28, when he said that he and Magbanua were together when they were arrested. They were forced to ride in different vehicles. Whenever Juat asked state forces about Magbanua's condition, the only answer that state forces would give was "Don't bother with that anymore."

Malicdem, Jimmy 

An alleged ranking member of the New People's Army operating in Metro Manila was arrested by policemen in civilian clothes along Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Parañaque on October 8, 1987. According to a pedicab driver who saw the incident, Jimmy Malicdem and his companion Jun Aragon were arrested by nine armed men along Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Paranaque at around 11:00 in the evening. The armed men forcibly took Jimmy inside the pedicab and dragged him inside a car and sped off towards the Paranaque proper. His companion Jun Aragon was likewise arrested by the other armed men and dragged inside into another car.

Manaog, Manuel

According to the sister of Manuel, her brother together with his friend was at their residence in Caloocan City in the afternoon of last June 15, 1990. Later that day, the friend left and reminded Manuel that they would meet the next morning. The next day, June 16, 1990, at around 8:00 in the morning, Manuel told his sister Josefina that he is leaving but will be around home by nighttime. Manuel did not return home that night, and Josefina never saw him again.

The Chairman of Ugnayan ng Manggawa ng Transportasyon (UMT) was "invited" in May by the PC Provincial Commander in San Fernando, Pampanga.

Mayor, Jaime

Jaime Mayor, male, 20, an out-of-school youth and a resident of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, was reportedly abducted on October 9, 2019. According to the victim’s grandmother, between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning, Jaime was going to buy a SIM card for his live-in partner, but on his way to the store, he was abducted by two unidentified men in civilian clothes and shoved into a waiting van. 

Jaime was allegedly involved in the drug trade in their neighborhood. 

He is still disappeared.

Montero, Roque

Montero, along with another victim, was waiting for a passenger jeepney along Libertad St. when a white car with plate number NJZ 231 stopped in front of them.

A cigarette vendor claimed that four looking policemen in plain clothes armed with high-powered guns came out of the car and, without identifying themselves, grabbed the two. One of the abductors shouted, "Don't run," while pointing his armalite rifle at Montero's head. The two were forcibly dragged inside the vehicle.

Muin, Abdul

Abdul Muin, 47 years old, was abducted on January 19, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. by five unidentified men in civilian clothes, with caps, and with faces covered with handkerchiefs, and introduced themselves as members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

Nartates, Edwin 

Nartates, Edwin, was reportedly missing 23 September 1972. Nartates was engaged in student activism before the martial law. 

In 1970-1971, Edwin Nartates, a student of FEU, joined the demonstration at Mediola Bridge. He then attended teachings and was with a group of activists in FEU. He was then accompanied by Roger Tan of FEU.

In 1972, during the martial law, he completely disappeared.

On Feb. 10, 1991, at around 3:00 in the afternoon, Alex Naz, single, a licensed engineer, was one of the five Bicolanos who were forcibly taken by members of the Parañaque police.

Nocete, Arthur

The still fruitless search by the relatives who came all the way from Albay and Legaspi City prompted them to report to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the PNP.

Nocete Renato and 4 others have been reported missing since Sunday, February 10, 1991, after armed men posing as police officers dragged them out of a basketball court inside the Camella Homes Subdivision, Parañaque. Witnesses said they saw the five bound with rope before the three vehicles sped away. The still fruitless search by the relatives who came all the way from Albay and Legaspi City prompted them to report to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the PNP.

Obusan, Rodolfo

Rodolfo Obusan and another labor leader were abducted by three suspected elements of the Western Police District near the vicinity of the Manila Hotel in Luneta Park on May 1, 1989, shortly after a violent dispersal of Labor Day rallyists by members of the WPD anti-riot squad. According to reliable witnesses, the two were arrested by persons in civilian clothes and were hauled inside a van with no plate number. Thereafter, the two were taken to an unknown location.

Olegario, Nilo

Nilo A. Olegario Jr., single, a resident of 18 Matahimik St. Barangay Malaya, Quezon City, an active member of the August Twenty-One Movement (ATOM), was reported missing since December 13, 1985, by his father.
On the morning of December 13, 1985, his father, Oligario Sr., talked to his son via an international telephone connection. 

According to Olegario Sr. during their telephone conversation, Nilo Jr. narrated to him that he had already joined the August Twenty-One Movement (ATOM) and that the military and PC soldiers were arresting ATOM members and other militants and activists. He said that they were in hiding and trying to avoid being arrested. 

Since then, after the conversation, Nilo Sr. had not been able to get in touch with his son or locate the body of Nilo Olegario Jr.

Olivarez, Tim

Tim Olivarez, 28, male, married, TEMPO reporter, was last seen at the Makati Criminal Investigation Division, Makati Police Headquarters, on Feb. 4, 1985.

He was allegedly with a certain Soriano at their house between 8 and 10 pm. along with three unidentified men.

Ontong, Manuel

Manuel Farma-Ontong, 28 years old, was arrested on November 26, 1975, by the military in front of the Philippine General Hospital, along Taft Avenue in Malate, Manila.
