Disappearance date: July 31, 1977

Dela Torre, Erwin

Erwin Dela Torre, a farmer from Bicol, together with seven others, was last seen near the vicinity of Makati Commercial Center on July 31, 1977. From reports of the Task Force Detainees of the Philippines, they learned that six others had in fact disappeared under the same or related circumstances, all within a couple of days of each other.

Disappearance date: May 20, 1984

Deldoc, Danilo

Deldoc Danilo was taking his friend home from the hospital when armed plainclothes men in three tinted civilian cars intercepted their taxi along UN Avenue and picked up its three passengers at gunpoint at around 12:30 noon.

Delos Reyes, Jose

De los Reyes, a former local secretary general of Partido ng Bayan (PnB-Pasay) and ex-detainee, together with another victim, was waiting for a passenger jeepney along Libertad St. when a white car with plate number NJZ 231 stopped in front of them.

A witness claimed that four policemen in plain clothes armed with high-powered guns came out of the car and, without identifying themselves, grabbed the two. One of the abductors shouted, "Don't run," while pointing his armalite rifle at Montero's head. They were forcibly dragged inside the vehicle.

Detroz, Mario

Mario and 2 other members of the left-wing political parties BAYAN MUNA and BAYAN were reported abducted by ten unidentified armed men believed to be members of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).

According to reports, on August 18, 2004, as the men drove through Sampaloc at around 5pm, their car was blocked by a waiting vehicle. Around ten unidentified men alighted from their car and surrounded the victims' car, then fired a warning shot and forced them to transfer to the other vehicle, and both vehicles were then driven off in a convoy of several cars.

Estillore, Misael

On September 29, 2018, at 2:00 a.m., Misael "Bandam" Estillore, 42 years old, a scavenger, married to Catherine Estillore, and resident of #3 West Riverside Street, Barangay Damayan, San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City, was allegedly abducted by an alleged police asset and three unidentified men along Alhambra Street, Barangay Damayan, San Francisco del Monte, Quezon City.

Disappearance date: November 14, 1987

Estojero, Edgardo

A labor organizer of the Association of Democratic Labor Organizations (ADLO), a federation of labor unions, Edgardo Estojero, then 31 years old, married with three children, and a resident of 232 Cuneta Avenue, Pasay City, was declared missing by his family after about five unidentified armed men reportedly abducted him in Pasay City on November 14, 1987. He was never seen again despite search efforts.

Disappearance date: March 05, 2010

Evangelista, Darius

Suspected robber Darius Evangelista was tortured by several policemen from station 11 of the Manila Police District.

He disappeared afterwards.

Faustino, Gerardo

On July 31, 1977, Gerry came home for the usual weekend with the family. After lunch he excused himself and told his parents he was on his way to "an important meeting."

Two weeks later, towards the middle of August, when Gerry failed to come home for his weekend visit, his parents were notified by parents of Gerry's colleagues and friends that they all shared the same painful predicament: their children had disappeared.

From the Task Force Detainees, they learned that six had in fact disappeared under the same or related circumstances, all within a couple of days of each other.

Disappearance date: May 11, 1988

Fernandez, Gerardo

On May 11, 1988, before 11:00 in the evening, Gerardo Fernandez, an active organizer of several trade unions fighting for workers' rights, was taking a rest while his wife, Elizabeth, was cleaning their kitchen when a group of armed plainclothes men arrived at their house at 22:30 M.F. Rey Vitas, Tondo, Manila, is looking for a certain "Tatang" (Ilocano term for father). When the Fernandez couple said that they didn't know of a certain "Tatang," the armed group got mad and cocked their caliber pistol at him, then ordered the victim to lie flat facing the floor.

Upon satisfaction of their warrantless search, which yielded nothing, the armed group forced Gerardo out of the house and dragged him to a waiting car outside. The identity of the vehicle was not known because its plate number was covered.

Flores, Ceferino Jr.

Flores, Ceferino Jr. has been missing since January 28, 1983. He left Hotel Intercontinental, where he worked as a houseman, on the evening of January 28. It was 10:30 pm, the end of his night shift.

In February 1983, his wife was approached by an employee of Hotel Intercon, who informed her that the Criminal Investigation Service (CIS) told him that they arrested one worker of Intercon during the last week of January at around 10:30-11:00 pm.

Garcia, Reynaldo

Reynaldo Garcia y Obias a former KADENA community worker for Pandacan and currently residing at 4886 Int. 16-B, Old Sta. Mesa, Manila, was abducted in plain view of witnesses by two carloads of armed men at 6:15 am on March 28, 1987, at the corner of N. Domingo and F. Manalo streets in San Juan, Metro Manila.

Disappearance date: February 18, 1988

Gile, Danilo 

DANILO, aka JOSEPH GILE, 24 years old, was last seen at a restaurant located at the corner of Libertad and Harrison Sts., Pasay City, on February 18, 1988.

Joseph was an active urban poor community organizer of the cause-oriented groups Kongreso ng Pagkakaisa ng Maralitang Tagalungsod (KPML) and the Kabataan para sa Demokrasya at Nasyonalismo (KADENA). 

According to the eyewitness, at around 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. He saw Joseph Gile walking casually, wearing a black shirt and maong pants with a red booklet tucked under his left arm. He also noticed the three military-looking men wearing plainclothes and sunglasses coming from the side of a gasoline station at the corner of Libertad and Harrison Sts. rushing towards Joseph. After apprehending him they brought Joseph to a restaurant in front of a gasoline station located at the corner of Libertad and Harrison Sts. That was the last time he had seen Joseph.

Gonzales, Joseph

Gordula, Yolanda

YOLANDA GORDULA, 31 years old, single, and a business administration graduate from Tagkawayan, Quezon, was last seen with her friend Dr. Juan Escandor on March 30, 1983, in Caloocan City. Dr. Escandor was reportedly killed by Metrocom operatives in a shootout in Quezon City at around 3:00 a.m. on March 31, 1983, for being suspected as a ranking member of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA). The incident was published in newspapers, but nothing was reported about Yolanda Gordula.

Granados, Mamerto Reynaldo

GRANADOS, MAMERTO REYNALDO, 22 years old and a student of the University of the Philippines, has been missing since March 7, 1980.

Rey left their apartment at 35-D Malinis St., U.P. Village, Quezon City, at about 2:30pm and has not been heard from since then. His mother and brother have searched for him in hospitals and police precincts in Metro Manila but to no avail.

Gualberto, Geminiano

Witnesses of the incident told TFDP and FIND that Gemiliano Gualberto was last seen in the company of four others on June 16, 1990. The report said that the five were arrested in Bagong Bayan, Taguig, Rizal, by elements of the CSG based in Camp Crame.

Gucela, Epifanio Jr.

On February 13, 1988, at around 1:00 pm, Epifanio Gucela Jr. (nicknamed Jun) was fetched by a certain neighbor and a self-confessed informant of the ISOD-South sector command at Fort Bonifacio, in their house at Tabun 1, Las Piñas, Metro Manila. They went to an attorney to get an affidavit to be used for the birth certificate of said neighbor's child. but Jun never came back since then.

According to the neighbor, from Jun's house, they walked to the house of the attorney and talked for about 5 minutes. From there, they walked along Tramo St. Upon reaching the corner of Tramo and Naga Rd., they ate in a corner store. At around 3:00 pm, they left and boarded a tricycle going to Real St. and the main road. When they reached the corner, Jun saw and approached a friend. Together they rode a jeep going to Zapote. That was the last time she saw Jun.

Guese, Serafin Sr.

According to witnesses, Serafin Guese was driving his tricycle along F. Manalo and E. Fernandez St., in San Juan, when four armed men blocked his way. Guese was forcibly taken out from his tricycle. When he refused to go with them, a .45 caliber pistol was poked at his back. Guese resisted the arrest, but he was overwhelmed by his captors. He was herded into a Ford Fiera jeep bearing no plate number.

Hamya, Mohammad Diya

Around 8 men, some of whom were wearing ski masks and armed with rifles on board a white L-300 van with license plate number XHC-238, are believed to be police or military operatives. 
At around 1:15 PM on November 28, 2008, Mohammad Diya Hamja had just come from the Blue Mosque in Maharlika Village after his noontime prayer. He was walking home a few meters away from the mosque gate when a white L-300 van with license plate number XHC-238 stopped beside him. Two men alighted from the van, armed with long firearms, one of whom was wearing a ski mask, and pointed their rifles at him and at the other people behind him. The armed men forced him inside the van. Witnesses said that apart from the two men, around six more were involved.

Ilagan, Rizalina

Rizalinda Ilagan, 24, a former student of the UP College of Agriculture, was last seen near the vicinity of the Makati Commercial Center in Makati on July 31, 1977. From reports of the Task Force Detainees of the Philippines, they learned that six others had in fact disappeared under the same or related circumstances, all within a couple of days of each other.

Ilustrismo, Antonio

Ilustrismo, Antonio, 21, single, a fishport worker, a resident worker, a resident of South North Bay Blvd. South Harbor, Navotas, was last seen along Spine Road, North Bay Blvd.

According to the witnesses, on May 7, 1986, at around 3:00 am, Antonio was seen pushing his cart towards home after a day's work when an owner-type jeep with no plate number stopped near the victim. This jeep was loaded with four men in civilian clothes; 2 of them went near Antonio and forcibly pushed into a jeep.

Ingal, Princess Rainalyn

On November 2, 2019, Princess Rainalyn Ingal, 15 y.o., and Albert Vargas, 20. y.o. was abducted by armed men whom witnesses suspect to be members of the PNP-CIDG inside Hillview Lodge in Pasig City.

Disappearance date: July 31, 1977

Jasul, Ramon

Ramon Jasul, 23, a student of journalism at the Lyceum in Manila until 1972, was last seen in the company of the six other missing persons. From reports of the Task Force Detainees of the Philippines, it was learned that six others had in fact disappeared under the same or related circumstances, all within a couple of days apart. 

Disappearance date: March 23, 1988

Joaquin, Angelito 

Angelito Joaquin was walking home together with his two classmates, Jesus Lina and Paquito Hanniba, when a plainclothesman riding in a pedicab who introduced himself as a policeman grabbed and dragged Joaquin inside the pedicab. The policeman told Joaquin's classmates to follow him up at the "headquarters." He was never seen again.
