Jose Villano was abducted in his residence in Langon, Cararayan, Naga City, Camarines Sur, on November 11, 1987.
Around 7:30 p.m. A group of armed men knocked on the door of his house. When his wife, Myrna, opened the door, the men introduced themselves as Comrades and wanted to have a meeting with Jose.
Myrna told them that Jose was not inside, but the armed men did not believe her and forcibly entered the house and found him in one of the bedrooms.
The armed men ordered Jose to go out of the house with his hands raised in the air. When he got out of the door, the armed men grabbed him, and some shouted to bring him along. Myra struggled to keep her husband but was pushed down by another armed man.
Villano's husband identified him as a member of a private army in Hacienda Mercado in Brgy. Pacol, Naga City. The families of Jose, accompanied by the barangay captain of their village, went to the police to report the incident.
A witness to the incident identified one of the armed men as a member of the 224th PC Coy and detachment commander based in Brgy. Pacol, Naga City.
Jose Villano was being suspected of harboring NPA guerillas. Jose Villano remains disappeared.
