On April 12, 1989, at around 1:00 in the afternoon, five armed men, introducing themselves as soldiers, invited Francisco Suba and 5 other farmers for investigation in the alleged killing of a CAFGU organizer in Mexico, Pampanga. At around 1:00pm on April 12, 1989, five armed men went to the house of brgy. chairman Benjamin Martin of San Isidro. Two of the armed men went upstairs and talked to Benjamin Martin. They introduced themselves as soldiers and showed Martin a list of names of his constituents alleged to be involved in the killing of a CAFGU organizer. According to the soldiers, a Captain of the 173rd PC Coy based in Mexico, Pampanga, wanted to talk to his constituents regarding the killing of the organizer. Benjamin Martin called the five individuals, which included Francisco, and when they arrived at Medina's house, the armed soldiers told Martin to accompany his constituents to the 173rd PC HQ. They all boarded a light brown Hi-Ace van with plate number 555. At around 3:00 in the afternoon on the same day, the relatives of the six persons went to the Mayor to report the incident. They were accompanied by the Police Station Commander to the 173rd PC Coy Hdq. Inside the camp, the Captain said that he did not summon or invite for questioning anyone and got angry because some are using his name without his knowledge. The relatives of the six missing victims have gone to Camp Olivas, Pampanga Provincial Command, and Commission on Human Rights, but until now their whereabouts are unknown.
