Las Piñas
In the morning of April 3, Friday, between 7:00 and 8:00 am, Federico Lopez Jr. left their house in Las Piñas City to see his cousin in a nearby place for a job he was applying for. While he was walking in the alley, an eyewitness recounts that Federico was collared by a big-built man wearing long sleeves (white) and maong pants. While Federico resisted, the man was about to pull a gun but instead dragged Federico outside the alley. Upon reaching the street, another man alighted from the green car and assisted his companion in dragging Federico inside the car.

While inside the car, the victim was gagged with a hanky in his mouth and was pushed down to avoid any commotion that would attract other passersby. At this point, the witness heard Federico uttering, "Huwag po, maawa kayo sa akin," to his arrestors. There were about four armed men in plainclothes, and one of them was wearing a belt with many bullets tucked in it, which eyewitnesses strongly suspect means they were military agents. After the incident, the arrestors sped in their old "green car" towards the direction of Baclaran.

Dodong's mother, Vicencia Lopez, went to see her nephew by 10:00 pm to inquire about her son, but she was told he never arrived at their place. Between 11:00 and 12:00 pm on April 3, his parents went to Las Piñas, Baclaran Municipal Hall, including the Southern Police District, but they were all answered negatively. They also inquired at CIS, Camp Crame, but to no avail.

On April 4, Saturday, they went to Parañaque Municipal Hall, but again they were all answered negatively. They went to inquire at the funeral parlors in Pasay City (Rizal/Veronica), but nobody was found. That evening they went to CAPCOM, Bicutan, to again inquire about a missing person in the name of Federico Lopez, Jr., but negative answers were given.  His father inquired at the PC Imus Cavite, but again only negative answers were given. On April 5, Sunday, his sister tried to contact Rady ng Bayan to appeal his case.
