Clemente Listana left his home on May 2, 1979, to meet Armando Borjal to discuss business at the Camalig fast food in Camalig, Albay. Around 2:00 in the afternoon, they were arrested by the Constabulary Security Unit under the command of Jovencio Sales.

Two witnesses were able to recognize some of the arresting constabulary soldiers as Randy and Picos. Listana and Borjal were forced to ride a green sakbayan vehicle and proceeded towards Legaspi City.  Their families and friends tried to look for them, but they could not be found.

Later in December 1979, a nurse who was working inside Camp Crame (HQ of the Philippine Constabulary) reportedly saw Clemente Listana inside the camp, but when relatives checked the list of detainees in Camp Crame, Listana and Borjal were not on the list.

They remain disappeared.
