On June 26, 2006, onboard a Mazda Van A-2000, Celina was travelling with her husband Prudencio, niece Goria Soco, and their companions Antonio Lacno and Ariel Beloy on their way to Samar province.  While they were navigating Maharlika Highway near Sipocot, Camarines Sur, they were blocked by a red Tamaraw FX and four Toyota Revos. They were abducted and taken to an undisclosed military safehouse.  Antonio Lacno was able to escape on June 28, 2006, and he was able to tell their stories.  Celina, Ariel, Prudencio, and Gloria remain missing. 

Celina Plama is known as Ka Jo in the NDF.
